We Built The Kit We'd Want To Rent

When we were putting these kits together, the question was simple — What would we actually want to carry into the backcountry of Montana? That's where the gear list came from. Not from what was cheapest or easiest to source, but from what holds up on a four-day trip when the weather turns and the miles add up.

The result is an approximately 10-pound base weight kit with sleeping gear, shelter, a cook system, a headlamp, and bear spray. Everything cohesively working together, everything tested, and nothing you'll wish you'd left behind.

The Logistics Are Genuinely Straightforward

You book online, fly into Bozeman, pick up your kit, and drive to the mountains.

The gear is cleaned and packed before you arrive so there's no sorting through a pile of equipment on pickup day — you just grab your pack and go. We'll even pack purchased consumable items for you like freeze dried food & fuel.

On the way back, you drop it off. We're on WhatsApp throughout the trip if anything comes up.

We built it this way because the planning phase of a backcountry trip can quietly become a second job. Permits, routes, gear lists — it adds up. The rental shouldn't be the hard part.
